Excellent. Really enjoyable lunch date. Sicilian food, creative menu and service with a difference. A wee gem.

An amazing lunch. Super friendly waitress (red hair from Canada). Prices very reasonable for the quality and the best steak tartare I've ever eaten. Nice atmosphere. Bramble cocktail was also so so good! Can't wait to go back!

The food was delightful. Definitely one of the best restaurants I've been to. Service was so lovely and kind. And the atmosphere was so cozy. Dining here is like entering home or your family friends place, where your having a festive dinner and it feels like one of those warm loving nights. I 100% recommend. And the place is definitely gay-friendly, as me and my partner were treated in utmost kindness.

Amazing food and cozy environment - dishes are stunning everything tastes really good and a nice match of flavours. - it is a little pricey, but it is worth going to eventually. They were on the Michelin guide 2020. It is an experience overall - The environment is very cozy. I would say that it is suitable for a date. - booking is highly recommended. - toilets available - public street parking only.

Once included in Michelin guide, Rabbit hole still offer the pleasant food. The restaurant gives me the sense of coziness not private but still relaxing. The complimentary bread and the dipping sauce is nice. The star for me is the Scottish border roe deer. The meat is very succulent and tender combining with the sauce I couldn’t smell any unpleasant flavors from it. Quite recommended The seafood plaice and mussel dish is creamy and flavorful as well. All the main dishes don’t come with side dish so you need to order things to combine the dish Its French fries is the cheapest choice and it’s ok. The interior is great and the toilet is quite impressive, and it’s not far from the meadows. I think you won’t disappoint coming to try this restaurant.

First visit and already looking forward to returning after a fabulously tasty mother’s day lunch - all four of us enjoyed the plates of food and the glass of fizz a nice touch for the mums! Great neighbourhood bistro with a lovely French Scottish focus

I went here for my anniversary meal a few weeks ago and was blown away by the food. We were kindly given a complimentary drink on arrival which we really appreciated. I ordered the ox cheek risotto which was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The quality of food is top tier and it’s hard to find a meal like it in Edinburgh. My partner went with the chicken supreme and also loved it. Staff were friendly and lighting and decor was nice. Even though the restaurant was full It was a very quiet dining experience and the atmosphere would could be improved with music at a slightly louder volume as I felt at times the restaurant was too quiet. Other than that I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Edinburgh and will definitely be returning!

Great all around! Our friends who now live in our town in the US, recommended this place so we naturally wanted to try. They didn’t disappoint! We loved the flexibility of the hostess. When we inquired about a table without a reservation, she was very willing. The ambience is very pretty, cozy & romantic by the window. The food was well seasoned and definitely fresh. Do not miss the Stornoway Black Pudding. It’s really delicious! We ordered Lamb rump, Duck leg, Sea bass & Cod. Our favorites were the last 3 only because we are not “rare” meat eaters and the lamb was served so. I still enjoyed it tho! I loved their mocktails! So good! They had sides that were also fantastic! The cheesy and creamy cauliflower were amazing!! You gotta try!
